Allergy & Dietary Information
Last updated: 14 August 2026
At Tide, we want every guest to feel confident about what's on their plate.
Our menu changes regularly with the seasons and the catch, and many of our dishes are made fresh with locally sourced ingredients. Because of this, and because our kitchen handles all fourteen major allergens somewhere on site, we ask every guest with an allergy or dietary requirement to let us know before ordering — preferably when you book, or otherwise with your server on arrival.
When you tell us, we'll tell you
Our team will talk you through exactly what's in your dish, and flag anything that needs a closer look, before your order goes to the kitchen. We're always happy to answer questions, however small.
A note on cross-contamination
We're a small kitchen, and while we take care to separate ingredients and equipment where we can, we can't guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy, please flag it with us ahead of your arrival — ideally when booking — rather than on the night, so we have time to plan properly and talk through the right precautions together.
Gluten free and dairy free
We're able to offer gluten free and dairy free alternatives for many dishes — just ask. We don't always keep gluten free bread in stock, as it's often wasted when there's no demand for it, but if you let us know in advance, we'll have it ready for you.
Allergy matrix on request
If it would help to see a full breakdown of allergens across our menu before you visit, we're happy to send you our allergy matrix — just email us and we'll get it over to you.
Get in touch
If you'd like to check anything before you visit, you're welcome to email us or call ahead, and we'll do our best to answer in advance.
This page describes how we handle allergy and dietary requests, rather than listing specific ingredients — recipes and suppliers can change, so the safest and most accurate answer will always come from our team on the day.
